1st Interim Announcement (Tentative)

13th Asian Microgravity Symposium 2022 October 24 – 28 (Monday to Friday), 2022

Background

The Asian Microgravity Symposium (AMS) was established in 1993 and has grown into a very productive international meeting for microgravity science. The earlier nine symposiums had been held five times in China and four times in Japan. The 10thAMS held in Seoul, Korea (formally named as AMS 2014) was the first official symposium named as‘The Asian Microgravity Symposium. Since then, we have seen the more international interests through AMS2016 (Sapporo, Japan) and AMS2018 (Zhuhai, China).
After the enthusiastic responses to the past symposiums, AMS2022 (the 13th AMS) will be held in Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel Jeju, Korea. AMS 2022 aims to provide an international forum for presentation, exchange of ideas, and creation of knowledge in recent advances on various aspects of micro gravity sciences and other related fields such as space life science and biotechnology, aerospace medicine, and so on. It will bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, research institutions and industry to exchange experiences, disseminate up-to-date information, and explore new opportunities; in particular, it will motivate young and new researchers to the state of the art in the related fields. Participants not only from Asian countries but also from all over the world are anticipated to share their research and friendship.
